Seafood Cravings

I have a sudden craving for... Seafood!
In SoCal, one of the popular places to go for some fresh seafood would be a trip down to Redondo Beach. There are tanks of fresh seafood for you to choose from. Crabs, lobster, Uni, Clams, Mussels, etc. Their Oyster bar have at least a dozen different type of oyster for you to choose from! I feel as though this is the closest you can get to fresh asia seafood place style. In Hong Kong we go to the harbor and there is literally street full of fresh seafood for you to choose from.

I normally get...

- Dungeness Crab - and just have it steamed. If you want a certain one then just let them know. Depending on how many people and how much food, we usually have one crab per person. 1 crab can range from $28-38 depending on the weight and the price per lb that day is.

-Oyster - They have a whole bar for you to choose from! Which ever you want just pick and choose. They sell it individually and no discounts if you want a dozen or anything like that.

-Uni (Sea Urchin) - This is a MUST for me! This can't get any more fresh! Some people might get disgusted by it since you still see the outer shell spikes moving, but to me it just proves that its fresh Fresh FRESH! The sweetness of fresh Uni and store packaged ones is not even comparable.

They let you rent hammers to hammer your crabs with for a $3 deposit which is refunded back to you when you return the hammers. They just make eating the crab so much easier!

This has not helped my cravings one bit >.< Just makes me want it MOREEE!
